Stainless steel bollards

Description

Stainless steel bollards are a practical and effective solution for protecting interior assets from damage caused by accidental collisions, impacts, and other types of physical damage.

The PolySto stainless steel bollards are made of a durable and corrosion-resistant stainless steel (grade 304 or 316) that can withstand high levels of impact without sustaining damage. Additionally, they are designed to be highly visible, which can help prevent accidental collisions by providing a clear visual barrier between assets and potential hazards. By installing stainless steel bollards, you can protect your interior assets from damage, reduce the risk of injury to employees and customers, and enhance the overall safety and functionality of your space.

  1. Durability: Very strong and durable to withstand high impact and resist wear and tear. Ideal for use in high traffic areas where it may be exposed to frequent collisions or impacts.

  2. Aesthetics: Stainless steel bollards have a sleek and modern appearance that can complement the interior design of a space while also providing protection. They are available in a variety of finishes, including bead blasted or (horizontally) brushed surfaces.

  3. Versatility: Our stainless steel bollards can be used in a variety of settings and applications, including in food processing areas, corridors, warehouses, loading docks, and other high traffic areas. They can also be customized to meet specific design and functional requirements.

  4. Concrete core: The PolySto stainless steel bollards are standard delivered with a concrete core for additional strength.

Standard diameters: Ø 89 / Ø 104 / Ø 154 and Ø 200 mm

Stainless steel bollards with core drilling

Core drilling creates a larger hole in the construction floor than anchor installation, allowing for a greater surface area for the post to be secured. This provides increased stability, making core-drilled posts ideal for applications with higher impact risks.

Stainless steel bollards installed with footplate

If the soil depth is too shallow for core drilling (f.e. first floors), anchor installation may be the only viable option. Core drilling typically requires a minimum soil depth of at least 150mm, while anchor installation can be done with shallower soil depths.

Anchors are also often applied with temporary installations or in area's where heated elements are located in the construction floor (freezers).

Concrete core

The stainless steel exterior provides a clean and durable appearance, while the concrete core provides additional strength and weight to the bollard.

Optional reflection strips

Additional reflection strips can be added to bollards for increased visibility and safety.

Local regulations or safety standards may require the use of reflection strips on bollards. It's important to follow these regulations to ensure the safety of everyone in the area.

Perfect for outdoor use

Stainless steel bollards can be used in a variety of outdoor settings, such as parking lots, sidewalks, building infrastructures. They can be used to provide a physical barrier to protect pedestrians and outdoor areas from vehicle traffic or to mark boundaries and define spaces.
