Next-generation CleanRock kerbs

Kerb design is a critical factor in food safety

Prevent hidden contamination at the wall-floor transition

Kerbs face constant exposure to water, impact and aggressive cleaning. When they crack, absorb moisture or degrade, they become hidden contamination points — hygiene risks that often remain unnoticed until serious problems arise.

Pathogens such as Listeria and Salmonella thrive in areas behind damaged kerbs, in open joints and in micro-cracks. High-pressure cleaning does not solve the problem. It often spreads contamination across the production area.

Because kerb failures are rarely visible, issues are detected too late. The result: failed audits, production stops or product recalls.

A kerb designed for hygiene from day one

CleanRock® is PolySto’s engineered core material for hygienic kerbs, developed to deliver long-term wall protection in demanding food-processing environments. The result? These kerbs deliver exceptional impact resistance and a fully non-porous surface.

Damage resistant

Designed for long-term, intensive use, our kerbs deliver exceptional strength. Up to 10 times higher impact strength than concrete, they provide unbeatable durability in even the most demanding environments.

Easy to clean

Food-safe surface designed for effortless maintenance. Its construction limits dirt build-up and allows contaminants to be quickly washed away, ensuring optimal hygiene.

Quick to install

Lightweight, prefabricated and modular system engineered for simple, precise and fast installation. Facilitates on-site assembly and reduces intervention time.

No water absorption

Non-porous waterproof material. Does not absorb water, moisture or cleaning agents, ensuring maximum durability and enhanced hygiene.

One foot design, suits every floor

CleanRock® kerbs feature a smart one-foot design that combines hygiene and installation flexibility. Suitable for renovation and new-build projects, this base ensures a strong floor connection and a smooth, durable wall-to-floor transition.

Build-up installation for maximum protection

Installed on the finished floor, the build-up method preserves the foot geometry and adds extra hygienic advantages: CleanWave for better daily cleaning and CoveProtect for extended durability.

Build-up advantage 1

CoveProtect: Extra protection

Shields the floor coving from impact and cleaning wear, extending durability while maintaining a hygienic environment.

  • Absorbs daily impact
  • Guards vulnerable edges
  • Long-lasting, robust protection

Build-up advantage 2

CleanWave: Engineered for better daily cleaning

Creates a curved, easy-to-clean wall-to-floor profile that reduces dirt accumulation. The CleanWave foot geometry actively controls water behavior during daily cleaning in food-processing environments, guiding rinse water upward along the rebate and safely directing contaminated water away from the wall-to-floor junction toward the drainage system.

  • Patented foot design for hygiene
  • Prevents uncontrolled splash-backs during cleaning
  • Guides water toward drains

New formula with recycled materials

CleanRock® kerbs are a next-generation composite made from high-performance polyester resins, quartz granules, recycled materials and carefully selected additives. They're engineered for exceptional impact resistance, watertight performance and protection against bacterial contamination.
