Job Vacancy: Project Coordinator – Polysto Construct

Location: Lokeren (head office) + site visits across Belgium

Full-time | Immediate start possible

Polysto Group, the European market leader in hygienic polyester wall protection systems for the food and pharmaceutical industry, is expanding its in-house execution division, Polysto Construct. We are currently looking for an experienced and well-organised Project Coordinator to manage projects from start to finish with full technical and operational oversight.

Responsibilities

Plan and organise projects: scheduling, timelines, and personnel coordination.
Coordinate material purchasing and deliveries with suppliers and logistics.
Manage and follow up with site supervisors, subcontractors, and technical teams.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Conduct site inspections and monitor execution quality and safety compliance.
Report progress, risks, and deviations to senior management.
Monitor budgets, analyse costs, and propose project optimisations.
Maintain technical documentation, project files, and administrative records.
Ensure correct application of procedures, including Checkinatwork and safety reporting.

Profile

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent by experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or site management in construction.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and technical standards.
Experience with project management tools and administrative tracking.
Excellent communication skills, client-oriented, and commercially aware.
Analytical, structured, and stress-resistant.
Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of French and/or English is a strong asset.
B driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites across Belgium.
